When I was growing up, every Saturday night my dad and I used to watch a movie mostly Hollywood. We watched movies of every genre.
But I cherished watching Sci-fiction movies. I can still recall the time when I watched E.T. As a child I was so mesmerized that I used to watch the sky at night with my binoculars for sighting any anomalous happenings. This was a short-lived activity. But I continuously questioned myself ”Are we alone ?”.
After a decade, this question still arises in my heart. Our technologies have evolved since then. Astronomers find a new planet every week but there has not been any progress regarding new life forms. It is imminent that astronomers will find new life forms by the end of this century.
We know that our universe was made from the “BIG BANG”. Our universe is made from Galactic Dust including us. It is impossible that we are the only beings. Our Galaxy the Milky Way is a mini galaxy that is part of a large galaxy. There are billions of galaxies in our universe light-years away from us. Ours is still a young galaxy. It will be insanity to think that we are alone. Astronomers are still searching for an answer to the inevitable question ”Are we alone?”.
